Another wonderful performance by Kari in the FL06 Kid's Tri. Like last years swim, she did encounter some walking but came out of the water in 2nd (for her little age group). Quick transition thanks to the help from Mom and Dad and she was off on the bike (all smiles). Her transition from Bike to Run was *very* quick and she took off like a deer. I shouted for her to catch the boy in front of her which she did and picked off 2 more kids. Jerry D and I pulled in and ran beside her for a couple of minutes. We cheered her on to pick off (pass) the girl that was a bit up in front of her. Couple of (expected) whimpers and Kari said she couldn't do it. Nearing the finish she pulled that magic out and dashed by the girl (seen behind Kari in the picture) and took the finish with Olympic form!
