Kari and Matthew climbing around the hanging playgroung at the Rochester Science Center. If only little mister knew how well his older sister keeps an eye on him. In crowded areas the two of them really bond and watch after each other.

Kari and Matthew dancing to Disney's Tigger TTFN. Pre school dance under the disco ball.

Kari in her after school program making butterflys with watercolors and strings.

Kari and I took the 15min job of ringing the salvation bell in front of the local mall. Her school was sponsering the bucket for a few hours. Each shift was only 15 min long (don't want the kids to get too cold). Kari had a ball ringing the bells and singing xmas songs with her teachers

Jeff, Kim, Amy and I rang in the new year at a local bar which had a mechanical bull. Everyone took a few free rides. After midnight and a few extra drinks Kim and Amy rode at the same tie (pictured)

Another WebCam pic of Mommy and Matthew (sick) playing games on the computer. Amy has worked hard keeping the webcam up and running to keep a famly 'pipeline' while I'm away.

While at some training away from home, I setup a webcam to keep an eye on the kids. Kari is doing very well at IM. We chat on Yahoo IM as I watch her (slowly) typing in replies. In this pic you can see Mom holding Matthew in the back/left.

Another fun lunch w Kari and the crew. Veg pizza was on the menu. During playtime I started being chased by a growing crowd/mob of kids. More and more kids would come up and ask, can I play? My cardio payed off as I outran some near 15 kids.

Here is Matthew before his T&A surgery. He has his pet dog Charlie with him. The black dot on his head is a tempature sticker. He had a sort of a rough start until they gave him the vallium-like med....after that he was agoofy/drunk boy. Amy and I are currently in the waiting room.

This is at Linda's Barber shop. During this photo I was in the other chair getting my hair cut. This reminds me of when my dad took me and my brother to Conrads Barber Shop.

While coming to the off season, I've been having some serious fun in the new Dryer Road Mountain Bike Trails. Friends and I have been coming here for the past few months (maybe 1-3 times a week). Lot's of fun!

Here is Matthew finishing up his Halloween card. Amy and I went in that day with doughnuts and cider.

Here is Lynn and her dad during the daddy daughter dance. It was a great wedding!

Jason and I are just settling in after our first day at the GUNKS. MREs are almost ready to be cracked open. I finished off the night falling asleep face down on my pad/sleeping bag.

Starting our climbing trip at the GUNKs. 2 full days of climbing with a sleep-over in our tent. Perfect weather. No sign of rain.

Over the past 5 years I've spent a bunch of time looking at the inside of airports. I'm very good at sleeping on the planes no matter what time of day. My 1st olympic distance tri is this sun (2 days) and my upper back feels a bit sore. This plane ride won't help.

First time the alarm had to get kari out of bed. Dressed on her own she helped Matthew out of bed. They both came downstairs together with all their stuffed animals
